@T.G. are you uploading .gifs or embedding them from somewhere else? If so that could be causing your gifs to expand the page's width.

I recommend using our GIF button in the post editor toolbar you see above as it will fit within the mobile and desktop view as it's a responsive image.

That doesn't happen on my phones... and I have an android and an IPhone.  It doesn't happen on my laptop either.  Weird.
