Notice how ineffective we have become after Z got benched.

We don't look good right now. One guy can't change that. But, it's good to have him back healthy.

I see where Colangelo is in the NCAA playoffs too. I wonder where the Ducks stand on signing him.

$11.25 million.  The amount we are paying KilltheDucks and Stoned for 3 years following this.  They need to be on the 4th line.  Because they are slow as fuck, and really holding down our skill players.  Even one, kills all momentum of the other 2, because the 2 are playing 2 on 3 until the old guy gets in the play.  And even in the play, they are too slow to react and get trapped, and it becomes an odd man rush the other way.

Yeah, but it's funny money. With no cap issues, it's not that big a deal. And, in three years when it matters, the contracts will be gone.

Missed both games.  Same defense.  One guy kept us in the game, the other swam it looks like.  Thankfully we didn't embarrass ourselves in front of the entire league being the only game on for the day.  Hey, we actually tied it in the third today.  So there was a small glimmer of hope.  Z finally got a point.  And Weggers goal was a nice rush shot.  His first in the NHL it sounded like.  Man, watched the third goal by Vancouver.  That was a rookie move by Wegger.  Leaving your man in front of the net wide open, to try and double team a guy behind the net.

Man, tough season for the top 3 draft picks.  Bedard, broken jaw.  Carlsson, knee and concussion.  Fantilli now looks to be out the rest of the season with a lacerated calf.

10 grown men in a small area on ice skates going all out. If you're not used to watching out for yourself (rookies), things are going to go bad until you figure it out. It's a skill they don't impress enough on younger players. Kind of stupid, but seems to be the norm in professional sports.

I always thought Josh Manson's dad talked to him after he signed his big contract with the Ducks. The guy noticeably ratcheted down the contact afterwards. It prolonged his career, so...

McTavish has really looked good since Z has been put on his line.  It's really worked since Z is such a phenomenal passer, and McT has been getting into the dirty areas.  Stoned has been non existent on the line though.
