Used to have doubleheaders on those days. July 4th Angels swept a twin bill and were in first place. 1962 I remember family was at Knott's that day. Was also free to get in.

I think the Miami-Bal series are more important. Houston is on fire, and they ran into a flaming buzz saw in Javier. He just no hit the best team in the last 50 years. They need to steal a game this series then win 4-5 games the next two. After the Atlanta series after the break it’s at KC, Texas Oakland Seattle Oakland. That’s the season right there. It’s mid-August at that point and 50 games left. If they’re not close to a WC, they’re done.
