I don't think he does. He had the worst slump of his career during the organizations worst losing streak. Could have used a couple homers or clutch hits when he was watching fastballs go right down the middle.

We couldn't see Rengifo's double land fair, and now on that biffed throw we weren't even able to see where it went into the outfield.

Again, consider what he's done on this team for the past decade. He can't always be the only one that gets it done, keep in mind Ohtani wasn't all that hot during the streak either.

Imagine being the guy that consistently gets it done for a decade with a team then gets called out on a baseball message board because you have an 0-4 day with 3 k's. Or god forbid, slump during a teams record breaking losing streak.

Trout has been bad in key stretches and moments throughout his career.  That’s unfortunate.  It’s amplified because the Angels suck.  I haven’t seen anything this year that makes me concerned that he’s at the end of his time as the games best player. The main concern with Trout is health.  That’s definitely been a problem.

Loup struck that guy out on an umpire miss call. He didn't earn another batter with that.
