Diaz pitching like what I hoped Suarez would be doing this season. Still gotta get the walks under control considering he's a finesse pitcher, but that's likely always gonna be a by product of his pitching style with how often he pitches down and in on righties with his FB/slider

That and one hit that was on a defensive miscue. As you said, absolutely no consistency and I'll add that it also makes no logical sense to do this.

I don't hate the move. Diaz walks way to many and had some hard hit balls that were turned into outs and it's a 1 run game.

He sits the three time MVP twice in three games with an off day in between, but pulls the starter in Game 1 of a double header in the fifth inning having allowed one hit. I truly do not understand his reasoning and look forward to his nonsensical reasoning in the post game.

The last 4 Angel's starting pitchers have given up a combined total of 4 hits!  Ohtani was the worst of them giving up 2 hits. haha.  Incredible too, considering 3 of the 4 are rookie pitchers.  Future looks bright!
