I will say I disagree with him being a HOF.

Edit: And I also honestly barely care at all who is in the HOF and who is not.  Sure I have an opinion on who I would vote for, but whatever.  It’s not like the HOF has a perfect record on always getting it right.  I pretty certain I am not the only fan out there that thinks they have made some mistakes.

Posey rates the Hall of Fame. He was a top-rated catcher for most of his 12 or so seasons with spells at first base toward the end. He didn't want to go through the "shadow" years of diminishing skills after age 35. He took a major injury a couple of years ago and who knows how much pain lingered through the comeback?  He finishes over .300 for his career. You will never see the shadow of what used to be Buster Posey struggle through a long season with the critique that he stayed on too long.
