One good thing that's disappeared in my neighborhood is pigeons... I think the coopers hawks in the area wiped them out.

I used to catch fireflies as a kid too... those are gone. Hardly ever see June bugs either.

I'd love to see squirrels disappear from my neighborhood  - they eat all the fruit off our trees.

I wish we had fireflies here in SoCal. We used to call the lightning bugs when I lived in Ohio.

Guy two houses away from me use to keep pigeons.  I found remains in my backyard multiple times.  I  am sure the Hawks were doing take out there.
