As I said to someone else a few weeks ago, that's not really the proper way to calculate LOB.  The team as a whole has left 9 guys on base over the course of 6 innings.  Adding up the individual LOB is pointless.

I actually like the individual lob.  While it doesn’t reflect the team lob it does reflect how often the team has failed with runners on.

One runner on base by the Dodgers got wiped out by a double play. That doesn't count as a runner left on base. Just going by the box score on MLB.com.

Boo boo.  Surprising to see someone defending the dodgers here.  Pointing out the degree of failure of the dodgers hitters. I understand basic baseball and math.  In this case however it is an enjoyable number to throw out.
