Sunday’s are my favourites (day games = UK friendly) so would be delighted if Ohtani was on the Sunday schedule for a few weeks anyway.

Yeah, would appear so.  Interesting that Cobb is tabbed the #3 starter in the rotation.  It doesn't really matter, but just curious about the rationale behind it.

Might have to do with spreading the lefties around the rotation. It's now RLRRLR.

Yeah, and that makes sense as to Cobb over Quintana, but it's interesting that he's starting before Canning.  Again I don't think there is too much to read into it nor does it really matter since he'll start a few days after, but just curious as to what went into that decision.

One notable thing is that Canning's gonna have a long layoff in-between starts. He pitched today and his first start won't be until 8 days from now on 4/6.

Guessing that they will be factoring in monitoring Cannings elbow in the beginning part of the season. I wouldnt be surprised to see him leapfrogged by other starters for a bit.
