Happy Roberto Clemente Day

If you do not know much about Roberto Clemente, I encourage you to read about his biography and the racial issues he experienced when playing in the Major Leagues.

Truth be told, he was one of my childhood heroes because of the way he played the game and the way he lived his life with generosity.  I didn't want to it to pass without being acknowledged.  Thanks for indulging me.

One of my childhood heroes as well. The first game I ever saw at Dodger Stadium was in 1972 when the Pirates came to town. I was there to see Clemente... Little did I know it would be my only chance to see him...
