RIP Rip Taylor

One of the most outrageous and funny men I ever saw. My enduring memory of Rip Taylor is him walking onto the set of the Tonight Show when Johnny Carson was hosting, yelling "King Kong's cufflink!" as he picked up an end table and threw it down. He was 84.

$1.98 Beauty Show, I remember watching that.  I think it aired along with the gong show in the late afternoon.

Loved his cameo in Waynes World 2.  He even had a good dramatic supporting role in Indecent Proposal.  He is a percent example of the term “national treasure.”
