Trout is DH.  He enters the field we lose the DH.

I was listening to the Rangers' broadcast on XM and they said that the wind screens will be in place after the All-Star Break that will totally change the wind patterns inside the ballpark. They were saying that some of the balls hit tonight would have gone out if the wind screens were in place. I don't know if this is something they do every year, (put them in due to traditional increases in wind during the second half of the season), or if they're not currently in place for some reason.

OK, it's really time for the announcing team to focus a little bit on the game rather than 8 innings of eulogy. It is nearly impossible to listen to.

He stayed in the game until being called out at 2B. The replacement seemed precautionary. It hit him on the right hand/wrist near the nub of the bat.

Its not a simple process.

Ill spare the gore. But plenty of things have to be removed and sent away to labs for testing.

Injury update per Victor:

La Stella has a shin contusion and Goodwyn has a wrist contusion. Both players will have CT scans tomorrow and be re-evaluated.
