Robles has a 1.02 WHIP.   That is very impressive, given what his career WHIP was before this season (well over 1.30).

Knock on wood, and don’t overuse him (on pace for 15 innings this month).  Granted in winning months, a late innings guy gets used more often.

There were a couple pitches where it looked like he didn’t come set. I was more concerned about those pitches than the unconventional leg movement. Btw the broadcast showed him practicing this weird pitch in the bullpen prior to being called to the mound.

The thing I like most about Robles is that he's an original. He marches to his own beat. I don't think he gives a rip about what people think. He just does his thing. 

He's grown on me. Results have that impact.

Many pitchers from Japan come over with pauses in their delivery (out of the windup, not the stretch) totally intended to throw off timing.  No biggie!  If it works, do it.

I'm just going to enjoy it while it lasts, which I expect won't be very long.
