Had to chuckle a bit earlier when Mark and Terry were chatting about the 3-series homestand, during which the Angels won 2 of 3 series but still managed a 4-5 pratfall. 

GO FLETCH!!! RBI makes it 6-4 still Oakland.

Usually a big Fletcher fan, and while he's not necessarily sugercoating it, even he should admit the underlying numbers suck, even with this disclaimer. Take out the 6 ER of the 35 he had coming into today and he still has a 5.32 ERA.

Sounds better but still shitty, but keep in mind if you did the same exercise for every starter in the league I'd assume their ERA would come down at least 0.2-0.3, too, which doesn't help the case.
