Chicken corn chowder

It's cold here in the desert where I live, so today I'm making my chicken corn chowder. Here's the recipe!

 

2 cups of cooked chicken bite size (I use one of those roasted chickens at the grocery store)

1 bottle water  (16.9 oz)

1 can evaporated milk

1 can of corn , drain

2 cans of cream of potato soup

1 small can of green chiles MILD, drain

1/4 cup salsa MILD

2 slices of cooked bacon broken up

1 tsp pepper

 

Combine everything in a big pot and simmer a couple of hours on low

sprinkle with cheese and crackers. 

Serves 2-4 depending how hungry you are.
