Granted, pitching in the worst by far division in MLB

Are a lot of teams bidding for him, and that’s why he hasn’t been traded yet?   

Billy, are you going to acquire a real reliever sometime?

Probably. No reason for them to rush to trade him, have to get 100% possible return from a team given their situation. 

I'd pass. Too few walks. I am not sure my psyche is prepared for a 123 9th inning, too conditioned otherwise. Gotta ease into it.

Yep he should be 1 of the 2 relievers Billy needs to acquire ASAP

I certainly wouldn't mind him near 8th or 9th inning considering the alternatives but a he's FA next season, he's 34, and prone to giving up a few hits.  This is strictly "rental" territory  and "cost to acquire" will hopefully reflect that fact.

Soria is from Mexico, i'm sure he'd love playing closer to LA & Noe Ramirez will have a fellow Mexican to hang out with.
As a Mexican american myself, It'd be cool to have Soria play for the Angels.

I don't remember, I was too busy being a teenager in 2001 to 2003 during the time when he played with the Angels.

Stats show that he produced 2.9 WAR for the Angels from 2000 to 2002 with one of those years having a .800 OPS.

I remember at the start of 2002 reading that the Angels had their worst start in franchise history & forgot about them........then October came around & people were talking about them being in the playoffs & I was like No way really ?

He does have a 2019 team option with $1 million buyout, although the salary is $10 million.
