Weiland fired by STP

Over the last 15 years the only time I ever recall hearing this bands name being brought up is when Weiland is going to rehab, leaving rehab, joining the band, breaking it up, or a combination of any of these four. 

 

Just a bunch of low lifes that aren't making music and can't give it up.

That is just my opinion.  I am hoping Soundgarden swings by here on their current tour.

I thought that for some time too. Then I went back and listened to In Utero. It was way better than I remembered. It's held up really well. I think, if Courtney Love hadn't had Kurt killed, he would have continued to get better and better.

the ONLY reason i'll listen to nirvana is because dave grohl was great on the drums and im a big grohl fan. Utero was good, i'll acknowledge that..i just dont see them as "revolutionary" as some

Used to be a fan of STP but honestly I didn't know they were still a band.  Obviously they were better on heroin.

Has an Angelswin member ever openly admitted to using heroin while listening to a music before or is Jay the first to do it?

I know that people love to say STP ripped off Pearl Jam and I suppose there are similarities but for some reason Pearl Jam bored the shit out of me.

Agreed. STP were/are far more adventurous than Pearl Jam ever were. I liked PJ's first 3 or so albums but it's been a suckfest since then.

Actually STP released an album a few years ago. Needless to say, they didn't quite recapture their old glory.
