Who knows.  They’re getting a lot out of Aberg and Ritchie.  Getzlaf is scoring goals.  This Sprong kid looks good.

Up is down, left is right.  Would be hilarious if this is the year that shit comes together.  Hopefully this winning and scoring trend keeps going.

and alot to be had on the trade market this year: Blues are rumored to be open to selling anyone on their roster including Tarasenko, Schwartz & O'Reilly.

Capitals rumored to want to move Burakovsky. RedWings have 29 yearold Nyquist who's having a good year & would be a rental i think.

Ritchie.  It looks like he finally sees the light, and is putting that big frame of his in front of the net constantly.  Instead of doing way too much and trying to chase down the puck on the corners.  Let's just hope he keeps it up.  Because net front presences are what we need.

So um.  What now for the Ducks?  I think now, top priority is trade Perry for anything or even nothing, if it means unloading that contract.  Some how, Murray has at least temporarily made diamonds out of really only Pettersson.  Only other players that might get moved is Silfverberg and Cogs.

Make Kesler play a physical checking role & get injured so they can put him on LTIR & insurance will cover 80% of his salary according to Eric Stephens.

Btw SJ wouldn't mind swapping Vlasic for Perry or Kesler, that Vlasic contract is gonna be alot worse than Perrys especially since he doens't have injury problems & can't be LTIR. Thats how bad of a contract Vlasic has, 31 yearold with 8 years remaining with 7mil AAV that also includes signing bonuses making him impossible to move. Vlasic has played like a poor mans Dotchin according to Shark fans.

Carlyle: puts Kesler on PP units, thinks using the 'shutdown line' with minutes left in the game is smart.

The only thing the shutdown line does is shutdown the Ducks from scoring because Kesler is more useless than Pujols & Cogs can't do shit anymore.

You forgot.  Fire Carlyle.

And BTW.  PP TOI, Getzlaf 6:32.  Aberg 6:00.  Kase 5:55.  Henrique 3:26.  KESLER 6:32.

It's not nice to make baby Jesus cry this time of year.

Thats on par with Scioscia batting Pujols 3rd.

Carlyle & Scioscia are probably drinking buddies, fishing buddies, hunting buddies, etc

After Rakell & Perry are back: If Cogliano & Kesler were to both get injured & they recall both Steel & Terry they could have a 3rd line of Ritchie/Steel/Silf & a 4th line of Terry/Rowney/Perry.

Pfft.   We all know that Perry is going to replace someone like Aberg or Sprong or Kase.
