I almost exclusively use Lyft, in the North Orange County area it is way better.

Out of curiosity, why is lyft better? Ive only used uber.

It's the same service without being the awful company Uber is. Most drivers work for both but from my conversations with the drivers they like Lyft better.

Lyft, at least publicly, is a better company than Uber, if only because they use their inside voice at times. As others mentioned, drivers also seem to prefer Lyft which probably impacts the item below.

A lot of it comes down to Lyft has more drivers in the north OC area, so you can get a ride in a few minutes.

Better company to its drivers, or the customer? Just trying to clarify. For the customer its pretty much the same thing, right? Same price or so? Is uber just shittier to its employees?

Its the same to me as a customer. However, Lyft doesn't seem to get involved in scandals on a quarterly basis.
