What is the combined slugging pct. from our 1B?

Marte/Cron/Valbuena have provided little to no power from a big production spot.

I know it's not really fair to lump Valbuena in there, but outside of a couple bombs and a few walks he hasn't provided a spark at the position either.

I'm not going to lie, I generally liked the offseason....Hindsight for sure but Espinosa was trending downward and a bad get....Valbuena looks awful too...Maybin and Revere have been so-so, to be kind...Eppler didn't get us any offensive help...did better with pitching....

Pretty bad at a .342 slugging percentage and OBP is not good either at .300. Basically, almost getting Andrelton Simmons' like production with the bat at first base. Nothing against Simmons because he's probably the best defensive SS I have ever seen but getting his production at first base with the bat is pretty bad.

Revere isn't even so-so, he's been terrible too.

The crazy part is how bad AL 1B have been as a whole..   For most of MLB history, 1B/DH has been the most offensively driven position -- this year AL 1B are averaging a .757 OPS ... while that's above the overall AL average OPS it's awful when compared to the NL 1B average of .903

AL average OPS in LF is brutal too at .693.

Is it just me or does it feel like offense has declined again this year after teams were hitting at a better clip for the past couple of years? Three years ago, offensive numbers around the league were at its lowest that it has ever been in quite some. There are a ton of starting pitchers with ERAs under 3.00. The AL has a lot of them right now and it is a tougher league to pitch in because of the DH.
