Did you read the whole article? It said we can't sign anyone for more than $300k this signing season. We're not gonna be able to get him, because he will sign well before July 2.

Eppler has said they'd spend to a point where it doesn't cost them or prevent them from signing players, so I'm expecting a measured spending effort. They'll spend up to their limit, but they won't go over so far to where it blocks them out for two years again.
