This team does not do one fundamental thing well

But none of that is a product of a piss poor Manager right since we have one of the best in the MLB?

Actually, I have to say I watched a post game interview with skip and he pretty much had zero energy about him.

Very discouraging to say the least.

Well Managers also game plan for the pitchers they are facing, analyze advanced scouting and other things to prepare their teams.  Not to mention get the team pumped up for the game.  He is not getting the most out of his players, far from it.

I think a full coaching staff change would make a difference.  Someone to top being their best buddy like Scioscia is.  Ryne Sandberg would be excellent IMO.  AAA manager of the year last season, almost the exact same situation Scioscia is when we hired him.

Not hitting is Sosh's fault?

Does anyone believe this is a better team with a different manager?  I'm willing to watch Sosh go tomorrow if I knew the team would be better.

So sick of this.  When exactly would you hold a Manager accountable? It's not just hitting.  We are horrible at defense, baserunning, pitching, and hitting.  If you don't hold the g'damn Manager accountable on any of those I don't know what to say.

You need a reading comprehension refresher.

I truly believe Scioscia is done for now, burnt out even. He never has pointed arguments with umps anymore, and his postgames are meh.

He just seems like someone collecting a paycheck.

Maybe he can regain that focus, but maybe he needs to walk away if even for just a year.

I'm guessing they have a pretty decent postgame buffet.

It's clear I've not evolved as food jokes about Fatty never get old, regardless of how overplayed they are.

Or my hatred for him has turned an unhealthy corner.

Besides 2002 and when we signed Vlad, my most exciting moment as an Angels fan will be when he's shown the door.
