While that is true, he's still dominating this year so far

means nothing. If some team were to take a flyer on him in the draft, it would probably be 20th round or lower. And the first thing the team would probably do is try and rework his swing.

Seth Romero, lhp, Houston (10): Romero has improved his body and is showing a fastball at 93-96, though he doesn’t always pitch there. He also has flashed two plus offspeed offerings from the left side. Romero has posted a 2.53 ERA and a 57-to-9 strikeout-to-walk ratio against solid college lineups thus far.

I would not be disappointed if Seth Roman was the choice!.... We need some solid lefties...Might even be able to promote him quickly and stick him in the bully if we get in a playoff run?....

Or, this high schooler...... Trevor Rogers committed to Texas Tech ... 6-6 185 Lefty!.... http://video.grindnetworks.com/embed/LPdP8h4YN ...... He's going to need to fill out.... There are some adjustments needed in the delivery as he's swinging a lot. But, I like that arm and height!

MOCK DRAFT 2.0:

10. Angels
3202.png
GM Billy Eppler started out as an area scout and has hit the road himself, seeing many of the top college arms on Friday nights, leading many to believe he and first-year scouting director Matt Swanson will go the college route with their first pick.

Pick: Alex Faedo, rhp, Florida | bba_video_icon_red

Faedo, like current #17 (M's) Alex Lange, is a college RHP.

Faedo came to UofFlorida with a big HS rep, as Detroit drafted him #40 overall out of HS in 2014.   Like current #13 (Fish) Romero, he's tall and hopefully durable.

Seems like the Halos couldn't go wrong with any of those 3 college pitchers.

10. Los Angeles Angels - Tanner Houck, RHP, Missouri

The Angels' new regime has given hints as to what they're looking for in pitching prospects - athleticism, projection, and velocity. Tanner Houck throws mid 90's bowling balls and offers an average slider and changeup. A two-sport athlete that stands at six-foot-five, he fits the profile of what the Angels would be looking for. The ultimate knock is that his delivery could lead him to a relief role, but his ability to throw strikes and maintain velocity in outings has him jumping up draft boards.

Whoever gets him will get a steal.

And all of his issues as well. If it's drugs? I'm not interested, No thanks, too many reoccurring Hamilines memories..... NO THANKS!~

And truthfully, A whacked out of his head 1st rounder and any other misses this year would set our Minor League development back another 2 years! This could to take FOREVA' to rebuild in that instance......... Yes, we want talent but not talent that could get wasted along the way.
