The Cubs hit Kluber pretty damn hard. They put four balls in play with an exit velocity above 100 MPH, including the single by Schwarber at 112.7 (!).

Kluber obviously didn't have his good stuff tonight. I went in to the game tonight expect him to only go 4 or 5 anyway. Very surprised.

Yeah I'm normally big on the "take starters out early" thing but I'd be leaving Hendricks in there to start the fifth.

Just seems like a case of a bit of over-managing. He's got a big lead, he doesn't need to be proactive removing Hendricks.
