Nolasco pitched better than expected, also better than Santiago did for the twin yesterday. I read on the Twins board: We sent Nolasco to Anaheim and got his twin in return.

Terry Smith was commenting on the radio side earlier in the game that since being dealt to Minnesota, Santiago has not won a game and his ERA in about 4 starts is 9.15.

Santiago had to be yanked out in the fourth inning of his most recent start.

he may yet work out for the Twins -- but I think Board folks here thought his string of quality starts couldn't last long.

Sell while value was up -- which is what we did.........meanwhile Nolasco may be a rotation guy for us the next two seasons 17-18. 

I didn't say he would be an effective rotation guy for a guy who could fill a rotation spot --  8-14 type seasons 4.75 ERA.

So disappointed with Carl's over the past 5-10 years. I used to love going there as a kid for a Super Star, and burgers were juicy and delicious. When the Six Dollar burger first came out it was hands down one of the top fast food burgers you could buy.

The last couple times I've gone it's just been lousy, dry, their stupid natural cut fries suck and taste like cardboard.

Don't think I'll be spending my money there again any time soon.

Red Sox just lost knuckleballer Steven Wright with a shoulder injury. Diving back to first as a pinch-runner.

The pitchers actually did their jobs tonight.
