When the other guy has a 1.77 ERA for the year, .75 for the 2nd half, throws a no hitter and wins 22 games. Greinke could have won it but he wasn't robbed. They both had remarkable years.

And the guy who finished with all time great peripherals and had 301 strikeouts finished in 3rd place.

 

A guy who had 2 no hitters(almost a 3rd) and had a career year finished 4th.

Also, Wrigley Field is a tougher park to pitch in than Dodger Stadium.
