    • Love it! - Ozzie Simba, baby!
    • Like it - Bummer about Newcomb, but overall good for the club
    • Ambivalent - about even
    • Don't Like It - F'n Eppler
    • Hate It! - Fire Eppler!

Yeah, and the team defense got better with Simmons.

Also Richards, Wilson, and Heaney are all groundball pitchers. Add Street and Smith to that as well.

Richards and smith, yes.

Street is an extreme flyball pitcher. Wilson and Heaney also give up more flyballs than grounders. You left out Santiago and weaver, also extreme flyball pitchers. Salad, flyball pitcher.

You are right about Street. I thought he was a GB pitcher. You can replace him with Gott, however.

Wilson and Heaney are GB pitchers though. Not sure where you are getting that they give up more flyballs than grounders.

Like it. Simmons is a proven, defensive wizard whose signed to a very friendly deal. We pretty much know what we'll get from him and any improvement with the bat turns Simmons into a 4 WAR player. While losing Newcomb and Ellis isn't ideal, they're pitching prospects and we know how volatile those can be. This isn't your typical Angels move where they acquire an aging, overrated player. They acquired a player smack in the middle of his prime.

Another note: You have to give up to receive in this league. Simmons was definitely worth a top 25 prospect and more.

And they maybe can't......See what I did there?

Trout 30

AP 25

Calhoun 20

= 75

They hit 108 in 2015.

But even if they hit 75, the rest of the team is going to hit a hell of a lot more than 25 homeruns. Not sure what point you were even trying to make.
