It's beginning to seem like no GM can (or wants to) work with Scioscia other than Stoneman.

Ray, do you see a help wanted sign out in front of the stadium? So far the Angels have not announced they are looking for a GM so nobody is talking about candidates. It is assumed they are promoting from within the organization but if that does not pan out then they will look for a replacement. When that time comes you will then see names popping up from everywhere because that is what happens when one of only 30 positions of it's type is made available in the industry.

Notti, no I don't. Thanks for the expert analysis. Your insightful thoughts are always welcome and appreciated.

Wait out the season and maybe the answers as to who or who won't be the new GM will surprise you. I'm betting on it coming from in house, whether it be Servais or Klentak and they will be responsible for all of the duties that the ownerships allows for, which may just not include going into the clubhouse and starting a small civil war between accounting and production.

I think the big responsibility for the new GM is finding players who can get out bed on time and not get caught sniffing coke off of strippers bellies.

Someone here mentioned that Servais and Scioscia weren't exactly chummy...

It might be that other teams are looking to nab some of our top FO people while the atmosphere is tense, and people might be more open to moving on.

That absolutely may be the case. However if the Brewers or any other team wanted to hire anyone in our organization or most others, and promote them to GM, basically every team will let that person go for the promotion. It's common courtesy, not televised basketball common courtesy, but common courtesy none the less.
