When a runner was in scoring position with less than 2 outs you knew GA was bringing him in. Whether it was a single, ground ball or sac fly, that run was coming in.

He also played great defense in left. I remember be would play the ball off the wall, turn and throw the ball perfectly to second. Runners quit trying to go for 2 on him.

I always liked his spin throw back in, because of him being left handed.

Remember how salmon, GA at his peak, abd glaus hitting 5th wasnt even one of the scarrier lineups at that time? Funny to think about.

Funnier too that glaus, pre 2002, was one of the more underrated sluggers in the game. Pre moneyball so he got onocked for his low BA.
