Fantasy Baseball - What's your team look like?

Curious who is playing in fantasy baseball this year and what does your team look like.

 

Just had my draft this past Sunday, and I think it went decently but still feel like I could have done a little better.

 

12 teams in my league and 23 players per team, so teams are a little more diluted for me this year than it was last year with only 10 teams.

 

 

Here's what I came out with:

Most years I try to find a stat or two that I decide to 'chuck' and just try to win/compete for everything else. This year it was steals..but than I needed a shortstop..so I got Andrus..I needed more runs so i got Eaton....Yelich was still on the board so i got him and I saw Cain was still there so I said screw it and got him too.

 

I really wanted Yahoo to put Doolittle on the dl so I could get Burns..but that was taking too long so if no one could pick up Rosario or any of the other guys I plan to add..I'd appreciate it!

Incidentally, I've been using (and paying for) CBS for years.  Is there a difference now between them and the free sites like Yahoo and ESPN that would justify me continuing to use CBS?

I'm actually doing something different this year.

 

I completed a fWAR draft.

The rules are simple. Draft the team that you think will have the highest fWAR by the end of the year. You are only allowed to drop a player if he has an early injury that will take him out for the majority of the year.

 

There are 30 teams in total, so the pickings were slim.

If you are referring to my post, let me clarify.  Each manager is given $100 to use during the season to bid on free agents.  The waiver wire ends at 8PM PST every night.

Managers determine how much they are willing to bid on free agents.  It's a "blind" bid not knowing if other managers are bidding on the same player.

I got my ass kicked in the first week since all my pitchers sucked for the most part, Jonathan Lucroy hasn't really shown up yet and Michael Brantley didn't even play. So I'm hoping my team going forward is a little better now.

 

 

I'm considering dropping Danny Santana for Asdrubal Cabrera. I like Santana better, but need someone who could also play 2B though I'm still debating whether to do it or not.

I agree, I'm playing a free league just for fun this year and it's not the same.  I still got riled up for the draft but I'm not checking it nearly as much or paying a whole lot of attention to the waiver wire or transactions

Not really. Scooter Gennett is available but then I have no backup SS. The main reason Asdrubal is a consideration is because he would solve the issue of needing both a backup 2B and SS.
