Could Angels Trade Josh Hamilton - Ken Rosenthal column

We are all aware that Hamilton has a no trade clause right?  Even if some miracle trade was worked out, Hamilton can reject it.  Forget about this ridiculous trade notion and just hope the guy retires this year or next.  If he has truly lost his love of the game like his last 2 months of the season show, he will leave the team under his own power.

Or better yet, that san diego suddenly need an overpaid past his prime corner outfielder....

Why woud he leave when Scioscia is playing him everyday?  It is not as if he cared about the booing fans....that is not his motivation.

Corner OF who can do what Hamilton did last season are easy to find. Corner OF with the potential to carry an offense for large stretches not so easy. Maybe he doesn't have that in him any more but they have to find out before they pay someone else to take him.

I agree to an extent. But I'm sure enough that he doesn't have that in him anymore that if someone is willing to eat 30-40 mil of the contract, I'm happy enough to take that chance.
