Jason Kendall. He was hardly a journeyman though. He was an amazing catcher in his early years and ended up finishing with solid numbers.

Kendall snapped his ankle on first base in one of the most gruesome baseball injuries ever.

#Barbaro.

 

I get a little queasy just thinking about it.

It's amazing he was able to come back from it at all, never mind play as long as he did.

Journeyman - someone who is reliable but not outstanding.

the closest thing to hatred towards the other team in recent years that I remember was Weaver vs Verlander a few years back.....and that was just a shouting match. haha

our franchise got soft. i think 09 against boston was the last one . pretty much coincides with our team not making the playoffs.
