yes, we've been watching. it's good to have it back on the air. i'm hoping they'll surprise us with the stuff that made this such a great show its first three seasons.

The season premiere was 2 hours. After that, it went back to 1 hour episodes.

I can't believe they killed off President Heller last night. There's got to be a twist to this.

Yeah, that was kind of weird how it happened.  I thought Kloe would come through in the last second.  But when it happened, I was thinking what the heck is going to happen now?

the lasting lesson i get from 24 is that the potus is the most cursed job in the world. i mean something like 6 presidents in 10 years!

okay, we watched it tonight. seemed like it wasn't too difficult to get away from the secret service. some heads will roll for that.

 

i'm guessing the story line is now going to shift to focusing on the mole. it looks like the terrorist mom's days are numbered.

They didn't go to a silent clock at the end, so I'm thinking the president somehow survived. Chloe probably figured out how to feed a video loop into Terror Mom's computer to make her think he was still standing there when the drone hit.

 

Can't wait until next Monday.

Well there was a clip for next week's episode that showed Terrorist Mom still in charge of the drones. She said that she was going to end it once she killed the pres. So maybe the pres did survive. But I still think he's dead.

Yet this show has a way of surprising sometimes, so if they figured out a way to sneak in a dummy, I wouldn't be shocked.

I think the best part of the episode was Margot actually hesitating for a few seconds before pulling the trigger. Even she was in disbelief that he actually showed up and kept his word. Michelle Fairley has been phenomenal.

My theory is this.

 

President gets killed. Chloe records the killing. Instead of striking fear with the drones, the video unites Britain/US and gives Jack carte blanche to hunt Terror Mom down using any means possible.

Did anyone else think that Jack's friend with one name was going to turn heel and do something to the pres? For a second in the car when they were talking, I was thinking oh crap, here it comes.
