Agreed. How quickly this thing has gone down the crapper.

They fast forward 5 years and leave storylines hanging.

I think the writers are out of ideas.

Uh lol. They got cut by HBO. I'm sure they weren't expecting for HBO to cut them short but they had to try and make do. They got one last season so they decided they had to skip forward and get straight to the point. Although I don't think this season is going to be that good, I sure as Hell don't blame the writers. Anything not producing the #s of G.O.T is getting the axe by HBO. Take True Detective as your next example. Edited September 21, 2014 by SoCALkid

I did not know HBO forced a quick end to the series. Makes more sense now.

Rightfully so, IMO.  Last season was crap too.

This last episode made me realize that they never should have gotten rid of the Irish wife chick.  She was one of the better characters and actors in this thing.

 

Glad Arquette's character got killed but now we have to deal with Nucky's backlash and suffering.

I never liked Margaret until this episode. She is so much more worldly and less a hypocrite.

I loved it when Nucky did not cave in to her when she said she had no where to stay. He gets his guy to find her a hotel room, then walks right into the Gentleman's club while she stands there.

It will be interesting to see how far they deviate from reality with Nucky as this draws to an end.

 

This season did not start off well, but has continued to improve each week. Sorry to see it end.

 

It is starting to get like the end of the Sopranos: no one is left. Most major characters are dead.

Not the ending I expected. They broke from reality, big tine.

A little disappointed with the ending and the shortened season.

 

I thought if they were going to kill off Nucky that Luciano would do it, but I guess that would've been a little too obvious.  Tommy's character coming back to do the deed was a surprise.

Meh.  Oh well, one less series to worry about.  It became a chore the last year+
