Under weather delay right now.  I can't believe the playoffs are already starting.  Seems like this golf season flew by.

 

DirecTV will be here tomorrow so at least I will be able to watch the weekend.

Any thoughts on liberty national? I kinda like the course, a few holes are a little gimmicky, but looks really nice for the most part. Heard it was voted most hated by tour pros a few years back

i'd been wondering why the tour was no longer playing at westchester, which was always such a tough track but such a beautiful course. heard just this morning that the barclay's tournament replaced it.

 

i wish they were still playing at westchester.

it was rated worst by golf digest after its first year on the tour. I read an article where they did like 120 changes to the course and made the greens more receptive. They have talked about the changes several times during the telecast this year.

Phil is on a serious roll right now. Four birdies in a row, and five out of his last six holes. Now sitting at -8 and about to putt for another bird,

Ricky Fowler and Jonas Blixt are dressed exactly alike AND are paired together today. It's an orange fest gone wild.

Chapell choke job in full swing.  Just doubled 11, missed a 3.5 footer for bogey.  Woodland and Chappell now tied for the lead.  Tiger one back.  Kuchar tripled 9.

Tiger with a 5 wood collapsed to his feet as he shanked it left, in obvious pain.  Adam Scott in at -11, could be the number.

Rose 3 putts for bogey on 18 and loses a chance at a playoff with Scott.

When I left the,golf course, we were told Tiger withdrew because of back spasms.  So, I was really surprised he continued the round.

Tiger really fought out there today.  Really impressive for him to finish the way he did.  Scott really put together a good round and everyone behind him faltered.

 

Hopefully Tiger can get healthy for this Thursday.

What a fun ending to the Barclays, only way it would've been better is if Tiger's putt went in to force a playoff.
