Meanwhile, I made some bombsauce tonight for an appetizer with chips. Like Josh Hamilton's swing, this sauce packs a punch. Two large jalapenos, one habanero and all the rest of the fresh ingredients that I put into my homemade salsa.

From Alden Gonzalez via a tweet. The first of Spring Training, Josh was taking BP and just mashing the ball. Apparently he crushed one and Alden tweeted that someone yelled out "Bombsauce!"

Exactly and yes, it was delicious! 

 

12 years ago a good friend of mine's wife who's from Mexico taught me how to make authentic Mexican salsa. I've added my own extra ingredients to perfect it to my liking and have been making it ever since. Get good reviews from everyone who tries it. I get a ton of requests from friends and family to make it every time they come over.

Grew some tomatillos last year. Things took off like mad, just about took over the garden. Canned about a dozen quart jars of puree. Playing with different recipes..
