What I expected when he went 3-2. Silseth is all over the place this inning but down the center is getting whacked.

Silseth needs a different game plan the second time through the lineup.  If you track his pitches he tends to fall into a pattern.  This is where someone like Stassi would have helped and an area where O'Hoppe is still in need of help.

I think that's a coaching issue. If a game plan needs a change that needs to be relayed to O'Hoppe from the bench.

One of those looked like a split he didn't get on top of and it didn't split.  Silseth tends to get into a groove pace wise and gets sloppy with stuff like that. He's the anti Suarez where he could really benefit from someone walking to the mound and slowing him down.

To a point yes.  But a catcher needs to recognize when his pitcher is falling into a pattern.  But you can obviously argue the coaching needs, to recognize and point it out too.

Mookie is going to remind everyone that MLB shortstops are just different. You can’t simply decide you are going to be a SS at  age 30.

If it were a Stassi or a veteran catcher the bench can sit back and let the catcher control the game. But O'Hoppe is basically a rookie out there and is going to need some extra help this year.
