Overall, I did enjoy seeing some fundamental baseball being played--at least early on. But walks killed them in the top of the 8th. Hopefully, Enright cleans that shit up while those young guys are in camp.

It's nothing new, it is a meaningless ST game, but it's always so easy to see why scouts fawn on Adell.  The amount of bat speed he showed on that triple was nuts, dude waited on that pitch forever and still was able to get the bat around enough to pull it to the gap.

Whenever it clicks for him, if it clicks for him, he's going to be fun to watch. Dude seems to feed on his own good performance too.

You tell me but I thought that those two swings were the most compact swings I’ve seen from him.

He was very short to the ball, thats what made his being able to pull it at all such a show of bat speed.  

He's just such a physical freak. People can bitch that he's not done it or may never become a player but good lord is he a freak.

And I thought there was less movement prior to the pitch, he looked better.  My day 1 Trophy goes to Nolan Schanuel though, 20 added pounds of muscle shows!
