I avoid Angels/Padres games vs the Dodgers so I wouldn’t be like cheering for him in person ever. But, I don’t hate him and hope to see him continue to be good, but also hope his best days were with the Angels

No. I don't wish him ill, and I admire what he did as an Angel, but I only root for the Angels. He is on a different team, in a different league -- and I will pull for the Padres in the NL anyway unless they play the Angels -- so as far as I am concerned he is just a player on another team. Other than me hoping he is happy and has a good career, what he does or does not do won't really matter to me. I don't have time or the inclination to follow other players on other teams. He made his choice; it is what it is.
