Sept. 8: RF Luis Rengifo (biceps strain) undergoing tests
Rengifo, who has been the club's second-best hitter since the All-Star break behind Shohei Ohtani, was due up in the first inning Thursday but injured himself after taking a practice swing, suffering a left biceps strain. Nevin updated Friday that Rengifo underwent testing and will have additional tests as the club seeks a second opinion and more clarity regarding the severity of his injury.

"I feel way better today," said Rengifo, who was held out of the lineup against the Guardians on Friday. "I have more tests to do the next couple of days, and we’ll see."
