I wonder if this is a precursor to the current staff getting axe before or at season end and possibly getting Salmon and Finley some experiencing coaching?

I doubt either of them want to coach 162 games a year.

I think they’re in there to evaluate how the team is operating and then let Arte know what they saw.

So is the lack of adjustments.

He's been forced to plug in "adjustments" all season due to the fact the April starting lineup disappeard by June.

$135m of payroll on the IL.

Starting pitching over managed by the data geeks.

Trade deadline hired guns sh*tting the bed.

So dumb

I think Moustakas would be an excellent resource to find out what's going on too. He's been on really good teams, and he's been on really bad teams. He can't really do that as an active player though because he'd be seen as a snitch. He needs to find a job in a couple of months.

It's easy to know what's going on.  Rendon  is getting away with slacking and collecting a paycheck with no ramifications,  Trout has missed half the season, so everyone else is just collecting thei checks too.

To continue to push this narrative that anyone is blaming Nevin, solely, for the problems this season is pure fantasy. As, many here have taken Arte, Perry, the training staff & the reliance on sabermetrics to task for the regression/problems the team has experienced this year. So, whereas the problems, obviously, are more than just Nevin, he is being held "accountable" for his poor in-game adjustments...which, are real...have cost the team wins & were evident/a problem in 2022 as well...

IMO his other adjustments have worked out well. Overall there is maybe a +\= 3 wins due to manager adjustments

Plus it's his first season as a manager.
and he ended up with a bunch of malingerers as players.
