Angels Injuries

Recommended Posts

As others have pointed out in other threads.  I suspect that while the Angels have been fairly unlucky it seems and it “feels” much worse because the Angels are so poorly able to contend with the adversity of these injuries.  In other words. Lack of depth.

I think it’s also worth pointing out, that it just happens to be that we are extremely reliant on Mike Trout.  And unfortunately, as he’s gotten older he has turned out to not be that durable.  Plus, he’s had a solid dose of bad luck as well.  So we really feel his injuries especially.  I don’t need to talk about Rendon anymore.  But there’s that as well.

im sure that you could probably look under the hood and identify organizational failures in terms of conditioning and provided services as far as health.  Incompetence and unwillingness to invest in various areas seems to absolutely permeate the entire organization.  I just wonder how big of a difference that particular aspect of their incompetence would have made.  I think probably a lot less of a difference than say. Player development and things related to that.
