Yeah, you answered your own question. You just can't sustain a BABIP of almost .450, and a 10:1 K/BB ratio is just about the biggest red flag you'll see.

Maybe that’s the difference between Thaiss and Wallach?  I don’t know?  Pitch calling or handling the pitchers?

I don’t know @TroutField but it raises a question 

I’ve wondered a lot this year how much not having O’hoppe and Stassi all year affected the pitching side… I’ve heard pitchers love the way that O’hoppe handles the game, pitch calling, all the little things could have made a huge difference in the whole year. 
 

I’ve questioned the pitch calling quite a bit all year… I don’t know shit but clearly it hasn’t been good.
