I assume that Thames has worked with Ward on that, but for whatever reason he hasn’t gone back to the swing/approach he had a year ago.

I did see that Ward’s career numbers are similar against LHP and RHP, and actually .100 higher vs RHP in 2022.

Still, Moniak needs to play every day against RHP, since he has a 1.072 OPS against it over 109 PAs so far in 2023.   That’s bigger than a small sample size.
