How many weeks/months before we get Rendon's bat back in the lineup?? That might help.

It will, for about three weeks then he will have a hang nail and be out another 14 days.

Detmers seems to have a mental block, or just runs out of gas or stuff around the 5th/6th innings. He's rarely very bad, but just not quite effective enough. And hardly ever gets big early run support. No wins yet must be frustrating for him, and adds pressure each start. 

Bachman has good stuff but is incredibly raw. He has a learning curve about major league hitters. And needs to face more hitters in more situations to refine his pitch sequences. First game nerves and adrenaline obviously were factors. 

Those bridge relievers are still a work in progress. 

Miami just was better in this game. It happens. Still a good chance to take the next two.

Yep, two best pitchers for Halos and a decent starter and young kid for the Marlins

I look at Bachman to take Barria's place in pen. Long relief or games like last night when halos down by a few runs. The bridge will be Silseth and Devenski for now. Davidson and Loup will head up the janitor crew.

Even though his pitch count was high in his first MLB inning, Bachman still K’d 3 batters.

Good late innings potential, but yeah, command/control issues to work out
