Not as a starter. Thursday was the last time he was a starter, Friday and Saturday he was a late inning replacement. He is getting playing time but mostly at the back end of the games. Once Trout is back Adell will be in AAA.

Adell isn't being traded. Really, Perry would have to be blown away by an offer, and the chances of that happening are more likely after Adell feasts upon AAA pitching for a few months in Salt Lake. Right now he probably couldn't get more than a 45+ prospect for him, maybe 50. Marsh was in better shape when he was traded, and O'Hoppe was just a 50.

Also, Adell is still lined up to be a starting outfielder, presumably after this year when Renfroe departs. If Adell continues to suck and Renfroe has a good year - and Adams never steps forward - then we might see a contract for Renfroe, or the Angels hit free agency again.

Velazquez is hitting A ball at .200 with a .394 ops this spring. There should be no reason for him to be on the 26 man roster once the Angels break camp.

I remember watching Eli pitch at the Ravine in 62. Great team 1962 in the race in September.

I don't think i heard the words "Dodger Stadium" emerge from the lips of Bud Blattner, Don Wells, Steve Bailey or Fred Hessler once in the years the Angels rented space there.

71 pitches in three innings giving up 6 runs. Yeah, I think Davidson's day should be over.

Nice running catch at the wall by Adell to end the inning. He catches and hangs on to it just as he crashed into the wall.

He looked like a real outfielder on that one. I understand he has been working on some (many?) things this spring.
