What's your protocol for telling your kid(s) about Santa?

Been going through old comedy podcasts and bits. Came across this one and it proposes a question. How do you handle your kid(s) and the subject of Santa Claus?

Do you talk to them at a given or appropriate age? Is it what I assume a lot of us went through where you just let them find out through kids at school and then as parents either confirm or deny what the kids are saying at school about Santa not being real? Do you just ignore it and try to run with Santa as long as possible knowing they will grow from kids and choose to enjoy the child/Santa moment as long as possible? Do you go full Bert Kreischer and jump through hoops and go as far as to create a hidden camera video of Santa putting presents under the tree to keep it alive?

Or.....if you don't have children, how did you find out there was no Santa Claus and was it an issue with your family/household?
