LMU became the first team in WCC history to beat Gonzaga, St Mary's and BYU in the same season. 

After being scoreless in the first half, Cam Shelton ended up with 31 points.

I remember years ago Loyola Marymount playing Oklahoma. Paul Westhead was at LMU and Billy Tubbs at OU. Both teams loved to shoot, early and often. A friend said to me, "They ought to tell the shot clock operator to take the night off." Very entertaining game.

Those LMU teams were amazing . I was at the tournament game vs defending champ Michigan. LMU just ran them out of the arena. People were just laughing.

One of Tubbs' Oklahoma teams lost in the NCAA final, against Danny Manning and Kansas. If that game had been played anywhere else, OU would have won it. Kemper Arena in Kansas City, basically a Kansas home game.

LB State has ELEVEN point lead with 1:02 left in regulation, and he fails to coach simple inbound passes and allows UC Davis to tie them and win in double OT.

Anybody who thinks Monson coached that Gonzaga team to the Elite 8 in 1999 doesn’t know basketball.   Mark Few did that, and Monson was nothing but a figure head.

Other than 2012, WTH has he done at LB????

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar just sold his 4 championship rings, 3 MVP Trophies and other memorabilia for 2.8 million dollars with the proceeds going to a youth education program.

@Lou I’m going to go out on a limb and say that I’m going to put UCLA at least in my final four in a few of my pools, maybe even in the finals.

I believe this year has so much parity that they have as much chance as anyone this year, regardless of what happened last night.  

I’m not that big into NCAA basketball, but I love March Madness, gambling, and I also think Texas is going to carry some cash value. Let me know what you think.

Yeah, I think it all boils down to Bona's health. If he is good to go we have as good a chance as anyone.

i'm notoriously out of touch with college BB, so i've likely missed an announcement or two about this, but why are two #11 seeds (Pitt vs. Mississippi St.) in the "First Four" game tonight? as i recall it's always been two teams vying for the #16 seed so they can get demolished by a team that went 36-4 during the season.
