I think he’s overrated as a coach. Theo put together a heck of a roster in Chicago—that team was incredible. This team would have been conducive to that except the bottom was filled with guys that just plain cannot hit. After the league saw the Angels strategy, they figured out how to pitch to them. And now we lead the league in strikeouts.

I don't think Maddon was overrated, if you give him the leeway to do his thing. The guy that's overrated is no Theo, it's Perry Minasian.  This team is poorly constructed.  A coaching staff that could walk on water couldn't turn them around.  Now that the Halos are stuck in the mud, it's going to take a big truck to pull them out of it.  What kind of game plan did Perry have when he was hired, someone needs to look at it closely and analyze exactly what went wrong, and how the mess can be cleaned up.  I don't know if we have that person in the organization.  But if I were the owner I might look for some expert outside assistance.  I've lost confidence in Minasian to critically review his own performance and correct it.
