Six reasons why this is the most disappointing season (for me) since 1995

Here’s a 7th reason:

It’s just an exceptionally boring brand of baseball.  We have 4 guys playing well year to date offensively.  Then we have 5 other guys that strike out, along with the 4 guys that are playing well YTD, who also strike out a ton.  

Bring Scioscia back, let him tell you the style of play that works, and build that team.  I will never grow tired of a team capable of hitting and running, stealing bases and playing good defense.  Could you imagine the amount of “strike em out throw em out” double plays we would have if we tried to hit and run with this group?

Firing Maddon was one of those dramatic, purgative moves that is supposed to wake up the team and get them focused on winning. It failed of course. Now we have interim managers for the interim manager, the coaches are asleep on the field, the hitters march up to the plate and swing and miss at just about every pitch (except the ones down the middle that they stare at), the bullpen is full of arsonists, the rotation has two reclamation projects (one at $21 million), the expensive third baseman who was really good for the Nationals is hurt all the time, and now the best player of our generation cannot understand the strike zone.
